SOKIL, VICTORIA, 27/12/2022 – 3/1/2023
Plast was not founded in a free Ukraine, but it was founded on hope for a free Ukraine. For 110 years, plastuny have worked to realise that hope, and this year especially we see that that work is as vital, and is being done as vigorously as it has ever been. In this year’s YuMPZ, we will celebrate that work and the hope that drives it with our motto “Надія Є.”
As Ukrainians, as Australians, as plastuny, all of us are now considering our identity, our relationship with Ukraine, and our hope about the future. The theme of this year’s YuMPZ will be “Australiana,” so that we as participants will reflect on our history and current role as Australian Ukrainians and consider how best we can work to develop our communities and our nations.
We hope you’ll join us as our Australian Plast Family comes together this December at Sokil to reflect, celebrate and continue our journey of hope into the future

Пласт не був заснований у незалежній Україні, але він був заснований з надією на незалежну Україну. Вже 110 років пластуни працювали над тим, що виправдуварти цю надію, і цього роки ми особливо бачемо, що ця робота така важлива, і що її виконують так обов’язково, як ніколи. У цьогорічному ЮМПЗ, ми відзначаємо цю роботу і надію, яка її сприяє нашим кличем «Надія Є».
Як українці, австралійці, пластуни, ми всі зараз задумуємося над своїми ідентичністями, над нашими зв’язками з Україною, та за нашими надіями про майбутнє. Тема цьогорічного ЮМПЗ «Австраліяна», і всі учасники матимуть можливість задумуватися над нашою історією та модерною роллю як пластуни в Австралії і розглядати як найкраще нам розвивати наші спільноти і народи.
Ми сподіваємося, що ви приєднаєтеся коли наша австралійська пластова родина збереться цього Грудня на Соколі щоб згадувати, святкувати і продовжувати по нашій дорозі надії у майбутнє.
