UkiFest 2024

UkiFest 2024 was held once again at Tumbalong Park on 16 March featuring delicious Ukrainian food, lively folk dancing, soulful Ukrainian music, multicultural performances, kids’ activities, cultural stalls, beer garden and various exhibits.
It was wonderful to see so many of our younger members performing – dancing, singing and playing bandura at UkiFest and older members supporting not just our food stall but other stalls to promote our culture.

Plast in NSW participated with a food stall serving hearty Kranski hot dogs with onion and sauerkraut. This is  an important opportunity to support the local Ukrainian community, promote our organisation and raise money for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered at our food stall at UkiFest 2024. Special thanks to pl sen Daniel Harasymiw and pl sen Greg Huzij for their tireless support. It was also great to see Yunatstvo involved – Mila, Anneka and Volodymyr. A successful fundraiser that raised over $5,000.
